I feel like I have to document Jenny and I's ridiculous ness over the past few days. First of all starting Thursday night (yep its been ridicolous for a while). It was the night before our party and somehow we stayed up till 3 in the morning making "arts and crafts". I think I cut out a Santa for a good 2hrs. Jenny made a wreath from Iulia's left over lily stems/basil/ plants outside and ribbon lying around our apartment (and i think nails were somehow involved?). On top of that being ridiculous on its own people were acutally over and witnessing this. haha The next day was the party! Which was all good fun as always, the drinks were quite beautiful and the sweets were amazingly decorated (with a stripper on one haha). Right before the power acutally went out for a good 2 hours. You don't realize how much you relie on power until your taking a candle from room to room trying to find things or get anything done. All the street lights and everything were out, but yet the party went on! The power came back around 8:30 so we were good to go. :) Went to sleep around 4 again. The next day we went to the emeryville market place which was really cool. There's so much to choose from! The day was really nice and i came back and sleppttt. When I woke up I realized I was supposed to be in SF in like 30min which was a whole processes of "speed walking" to BART. We had dinner at cheesecake factory which was quite delicous mmm tiramisu! (yeah i realize I didnt have cheesecake). We waited basically 2hrs and got back around 11 to berkeley. Afterwards we took pictures (my fault) trying to see if I like my new camera, until late in to the night. The next day there was ANOTHER blackout. I was like ah! a time to test out the camera in pure darkness! Jenny was holding a flashlight and flashing it at us and she was like wait! what happens when i flash it at the camera? It made like a magical ball of light! So taht entertained us into the night again. haha all in all a good weekend |
